DALL-E 2 Image Downloader: Save and Organize Generated Images with Ease
DALL-E 2 Image Downloader is a Chrome add-on developed by Aron Adler. This free tool is designed specifically for the DALL·E 2 web app, allowing users to easily download the generated images along with the prompt that generated them. With this extension, users no longer have to manually download each image one by one or struggle to organize and rename files to link them with their corresponding prompts.
The problem with the DALL·E 2 web app is that it only displays the 50 most recent prompts and generated image sets, making it difficult to access older ones. This extension solves this issue by adding a button in the bottom left-hand corner of the page. When clicked, the button downloads all the images generated by the current prompt in a zip folder. The name of the zip folder is automatically set as the prompt that generated the images, allowing users to easily save and organize their prompt and its associated images in just one click.
Please note that there are some limitations to be aware of. If the prompt input field has been edited or cleared after generating the images or navigating back to a previous task, the zip folder name will reflect the edited version of the prompt instead of the original one used to generate the images. Unfortunately, the page HTML does not provide any other reference to the prompt that generated the images, so the prompt input field is currently the best option available.
